Introducing a new resource toolkit from PAN:
California State Regional Re-Entry Guides!
We have created three separate re-entry guides, formatted specifically for Northern, Central, and Southern California. All three re-entry guides initially list both national and state-wide hotlines and resources, and then list resources by county. See below for the list of counties included in each guide.
These guides contain information about how to connect those stepping outside of prison doors with regional community resources. Our guides are best suited for folks who are approximately a year from release or who have a release date. If that is you, congratulations! PAN is excited to welcome you back into the community.
The included organizations provide a variety of services, such as education and employment opportunities, legal services, housing services, healthcare, and treatment. Most entries include websites, phone numbers, and physical addresses folks can contact to ask about the organization’s services and how to receive help.
All county resources have been contacted by PAN to ensure that the organizations are following up-to-date COVID-19 safety practices. They are up to date as of March 2021. Please be aware that as the COVID-19 pandemic progresses, each of the organizations listed may experience changes in services or hours in order to comply with state and county rules. Please contact organizations you are interested in to ensure they are still providing applicable services.
Printable PDF versions of each guide are available below — please share and distribute. The guides are in limited publication — please click the donate button below to keep these unique and valuable resources in print! The guides were created in partnership with Berkeley Law PAN students — thank you for making these a reality!
